Biban Dial Mrrakch is an experimental typographic project that was inspired by the patterns on the doors of Marrakesh houses.
i took photos of over 100 doors and digitally remade the symbols in order to create a dingbat typeface.
i have also experimented with the letters and shapes by creating new ones by making ligatures.
the result is an intricate typeface that celebrates the beauty and complexity of Marrakshi culture and design
