my best friend 🩵Tidiane🩵 wanted a birthday photoshoot, so we found ourselves at an iconic Abidjan hotel ( no longer opened to the public but still maintains it presence & aura in our city’s landscape).

these portraits, shot entirely on my iphone SE, capture both Tidiane vision for himself and my approach to finding compelling frames within this nostalgic place that shaped Abidjan social scene.

this shoot is a documentation of friendship and also a celebration of creation with what we have.
